Acuña, Mexico

Each spring our Mission Team goes across the Texas border at Del Rio to Acuña, Mexico. The group joyfully sings as they work on Friday and Saturday; then they worship there with the Acuña brothers on Sunday morning. Some of the tasks performed are mixing concrete, painting, plumbing and electrical work.

Jose Martinez leads the mission work of the school of preaching with the help of his wife Martha, planting “seed” churches as a regular project. Their Youth Ministry, led by Juan Alvarez is a dynamic outreach to the community.

The main campus building which is the primary focus of upkeep is one of several buildings we service in “Cuidad de Acuña” as we strive to spread the word of God in the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

Papua New Guinea

The work in Papua New Guinea is led by Craig and Jeri Ford. While we support their work in a small way; the majority of their support comes from the Church of Christ in Champions (Houston). We will continue to encourage this couple by increasing our support as the work moves forward in this foreign land.
